    I love the blue on him much more than the red. Considering that his own eyes are blue, I think blue suits him much better in this outfit.

Too many artists forget how much Dick loves to move--they make him all cramped and stiff instead of showing us the boy/man who loves to fly, who moves through the air as fluidly as a bird in flight or a fish in the water.

I miss the blue (and fingerstripes) for the same reason. Black & red are aggression colors; blue is that cool liquid flow. And, silly though it is, I see the plain V as the usual "Look at my agressive chest/shoulder muscles" of half the heroes out there, while the fingerstripes went with his expressive motion in all things - the hands that launched him, balanced him, landed and pivoted and swung him....

Why yes, I *do* love our lithe and--under it all--joyful Dick Grayson more than anything. Could you tell? ;)
